HOW IT WORKS
This tournament has been created by Joanne O’Riordan of The Irish Times, The Gaelic Players Association and Insomnia Games Festival with the objective of raising much needed funds for our unbelievable frontline healthcare workers during this hugely challenging time. We also have leading Irish gaming community The Republic of Players managing the administration and live streaming of the tournament so we can all watch these epic FIFA 20 battles live online!
DONATE HERE FOR FRONTLINE WORKERS
The way this works is simple – hurling and football stars from around the country will be facing off in an Online FIFA 20 Tournament that is viewable by the public (live) on May 01 – 03 at the links below. Along the way, we hope to raise valuable funds from both the general public and supportive businesses and communities, with proceeds going directly to frontline healthcare workers fighting the Covid-19 crisis.
HOW TO WATCH
Here’s the information you need to see Ireland’s GAA stars battle it out to be crowned All Ireland FIFA 20 Charity Champion:
1. Each of the 32 counties are represented by a senior inter-county hurler or Gaelic footballer competing in the tournament.
2. Each GAA star will be randomly allocated a Champions League team that they must compete with. The random draw makes it as fair as possible for all players 😉
3. Teams and fixtures will be announced on Wednesday 29th April 2020.
4. Select fixtures will be streamed live at the following times:
Friday 1st May – Live Stream from 7pm
Saturday 2nd May – Live Stream from 4pm

Live streams can be viewed via the Insomnia Dublin Games Festival Facebook Page

And most importantly! Please be sure to donate to our frontline healthcare workers as they continue to battle the Covid-19 crisis in Ireland. Your support is more important than ever.
