**Important Announcement** Due to the unforeseen changes to Fortnite Season 11, the organisers have made the following change – the Sunday Trios tournament will no longer be running. An additional Solos tournament will run on Sunday instead. 

Players who purchased a Sunday Trios ticket will now be automatically entered into the Sunday Solos tournament. 

When are the Fortnite  Tickets available?

For existing Insomnia ticket holders, Fortnite Tickets will be available for an exclusive period of 48 hours from 12pm on Wednesday 9th October. Existing ticket holders will be provided an exclusive access code via email in order to purchase the Fortnite tickets during this 48 hour period. 

After this initial 48 hour period, Fortnite Tickets go on sale to the general public at 12pm on Friday October 11th.

How much is it to enter?

The cost of a Fortnite Ticket is €10.00 plus booking fees and taxes. Please note you must have an Insomnia Dublin ticket to gain entry to the festival, plus a Fortnite Challenge Ticket to compete.

Where are tickets available? 

Standard Insomnia Dublin tickets are currently available via www.insomniagamingdublin.ie/get-tickets

Fortnite Tickets will be available from 6pm on Friday 11th October via www.insomniagamingdublin.ie/get-tickets

When you choose your ticket type e.g. General Admission / VIP etc. you will be asked during Checkout if you wish to add a Fortnite Ticket to your order. Please make sure that the day you choose to enter the Fortnite is the same day you are attending Insomnia Games Festival.

A Fortnite Ticket alone will not allow you access to the festival.

Please note the number of Fortnite Tickets are extremely limited and are expected to sell out quickly.

How many players will be competing? 

There will be 50 Fortnite players competing on Saturday 9th November (Solos)

There will be 50 Fortnite players competing on Sunday 10th November (Solos)

What time does the Fortnite start?

The Fortnite Challenge starts at 1pm on both Saturday (Solos) and Sunday (Solos)

What value is the prize pool?

The prize pool available is valued at over €1,000 comprised of cash prizes, gaming equipment and merch. 

General Rules & Conduct

  • Rounds: 6 Games
  • Weapons: All allowed
  • Scoring: Placement only
    • Solo
      • 1st Place: 10 points
      • 2nd to 5th: 7 points
      • 6th to 15th: 5 points
      • 16th to 25th: 3 points

The organisers cannot be responsible for Fortnite lag during gameplay which is beyond its control. Any games affected by lag will not be replayed.

The organisers cannot be responsible for software updates scheduled by the game’s publisher, Epic Games, which may interrupt gameplay, or indeed cause the organisers to suspend or abandon the competition altogether.

The Fortnite competition will be played on PC. Players my bring their own controllers, however the use of controllers will be at the discretion of organisers on the day.

Any intentional ending of the game will result in disqualification.

Players must conduct themselves in a reasonable manner, showing appropriate respect to the organisers and to other Players. All players are expected to adhere to the standards of good sportsmanship at all times.

Damage and/or abuse to game equipment, controllers, or any tournament hardware is prohibited. Any player causing damage of any kind will be liable for any costs incurred to the organisers as a result and subject to ejection from the festival.

The competition organisers reserve the right to change or amend these rules at any time.

Any player not respecting an organisers decision will risk being disqualified from the tournament, or even removed from the event.
